FACILITY USAGE INFORMATION

Thank you for considering The Bridge Community Center (BCC) for your upcoming event. The Bridge is a ministry of First Baptist Peachtree City (FBCPTC) and our primary purpose is to build relationships by meeting expressed needs of the community so that all may have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Building use activities fall under the jurisdiction of the Bridge Director. No commitment for building use is finalized until the Facility Usage Agreement has been completed and executed by the director and any required deposit received.

Approval of the use of the grounds and facilities does not constitute or imply endorsement of a group, their mission, or their positions. Groups approved to use facilities must not advertise the event in such a way as to imply endorsement by BCC or the congregation of FBC PTC. No activities or advocacy may take place within our buildings or grounds that conflict with the Bylaws and the practices of this congregation and the denomination. Organizations or individuals whose activities and/or missions are in conflict with the mission and doctrinal beliefs of FBC PTC will not be allowed to reserve space for or hold events/activities at the Bridge Community Center.

Steps to Facility Use Scheduling

  • Fill out a Facility Usage Request Form.
  • Agree to the terms and conditions defined in the Facility Usage Agreement.
  • Upon electronic submission of the Facility Usage Agreement the director will evaluate your request and notify you if it is approved or not approved.
  • If approved, you will be sent one invoice for the deposit and another invoice for the facility usage fees.
  • The deposit must be paid to confirm the reservation.

Facilities and Availability
The Bridge Community Center is comprised of a large gymnasium and several flexible rooms which can accommodate meetings, classes, or other gatherings of various sizes.

This facility is utilized by FBC PTC on Sundays so no space is available for rental on Sundays.

The Bridge Community Center also hosts an Upward basketball league starting the second week of October through the first week of February.  In order to support this league, very limited rental space is available in the evenings and on Saturdays during these weeks.

Due to scheduled activities during normal operating hours, the gym is only available outside normal operating hours.  A facility staffing fee will also be required.

Facility Fees
The facility deposit and rental fees are currently being evaluated and revised and will be posted as soon as they are available. Please do not make a deposit when submitting a facility request, the deposit invoice will be sent upon approval of the request

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Membership Fees
The Bridge does not require long-term contracts with its members. Monthly memberships require the automatic monthly withdrawal of membership fees. Membership is not based on facility usage, so monthly membership dues will be withdrawn whether or not members use the facility. Annual memberships are available and may be paid with a credit card, cash, or check. Payments can be set up online through the self-service portal.

Membership Cancellation
To cancel your membership, you need to complete a cancellation form located at the front desk. The Bridge has a 30-day cancellation policy. This means that you will be billed for one more month of membership after you complete the cancellation form. Your membership remains valid during this time and you have full access to the Bridge facilities. Any member who moves out of town and forgets to cancel their membership must email their cancellation to thebridge@fbcptc.org.

Membership Freeze
You can freeze your membership for up to three months for the following reasons: vacation, financial, medical, work or school. If your membership hold is due to medical reasons, a doctor’s note is needed. During this period you will not be charged membership dues. At the end of the three-month period, your membership will automatically become active and you will begin the normal billing cycles. To freeze your membership, you need to complete a FREEZE form at the front desk. If you wish to cancel your membership at any point during a membership freeze, you will be billed for one more month and your membership will be valid during this period.

Financial Assistance
We believe finances should never become a barrier to participation at the Bridge. If you feel there are events in your household like job loss, medical bills, etc. that cut into your “wellness” budget let us know. You won’t know what’s possible unless we talk.
